So the Kuat Transfer V2 is gonna be the easiest bike rack to use. It has the easiest lever system and the easiest mounting and dismounting of your bike rack because of its unique goalpost design. So when you have two bikes up on there, you can step into here, put the first bike on, strap that down, and then go over here and you put the second bike on. So the Kuat Sherpa is a pretty good bike rack when it comes to the premium features that you would expect from a Kuat bike rack, but not as pricy as say a Kuat NV So we'll take a look at the different features, the different specs, different measurements just to see if it's the right fit for your bicycles and your Hyundai Santa Fe. So first, we're gonna tilt this down. You have this lever right over here, you're gonna wanna pull that lever and just let it drop down. One thing I noticed with the Kuat Sherpa is it has very smooth movement. Even when you tilt it down it kind of just glides down. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz- Video
Hi there everyone, John here and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Kuat Sherpa on our 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. Now, if you're looking for a bike rack with a lot of premium features and more of a compact design platform style rack wise, this is a great choice to go with. It can handle up to 40 pounds, which is relatively nice for what you're getting, it can handle most road bikes, women's bikes, but maybe some of the fat tire bikes and e-bikes, will not be able to handle those. So keep that in mind and maybe figure out how much your bike weighs before you get this. Now, as you can tell with it also having a front tire hold, this is gonna add to the versatility of this bike rack for the fact that you can actually have carbon frame and odd-sized and odd-shaped frames on this, so your women's bikes, your carbon frame bikes, you aren't gonna have to worry about deterioration on that frame, or maybe it just wouldn't fit. So that's one of the reasons I like it to have a wheel hold like this. more

So this can be an awesome way if you're finding trouble or having trouble I should say, getting your heavy E-bikes onto your carriers. And why I say that, and as the name suggests, we are gonna have a ramp that is gonna assist us of actually getting our bikes onto our carrier. It also is gonna support a 66 pound weight capacity limit, making sure that it's actually built and ready to handle your heavy E-bikes, which is great. Especially if you're comparing this to some of the other carriers on the market, a lot of them are gonna kinda come to a standstill at about 60 pounds per bike. more

Hi there Hyundai owners, today on your 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at Swagman's XC2 two-bike platform rack. This two-bike platform rack's gonna be great for mountain bikes, or larger bikes as well, up to a tire width of about three inches. So you can put just about anything on here, and they do have staggeredness to them so that way you don't have to worry about your handlebars contacting. And we have frame contact that holds our bike into place. So this is gonna ensure that it stays in there very solid and that our bike's not gonna go anywhere. Now because this is a frame contacting bike, I don't recommend this for carbon fiber bikes as it could potentially damage the frame due to the vibrations. more

Hi everyone. It's Evangelina here at etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Rocky Mount's Monorail One, which means solo bike rack here on our 2021 Hyundai Palisade. This is a great bike rack if you want something that has that extra heavy weight capacity for your electric bikes, as well your fat tire bikes, or even your carbon frame bikes, like what we have here right now. One of its features is that it can tilt away, and to do so, you're going to have to pull this lever right there allowing it to drop down to a stop and you'll want to do this if you want to, say, access your hatch, and you can see how there is space between our door and our bike, allowing us to get in there, maybe grab our water or our helmets or our bags all without having to worry about taking our bike off. It's a nice, quick and easy solution. To bring it up, you're just going to have to lift this up and then it will snap back into place in this position. more

Now this is a good bike rack if you're filled up your Palisade with all your friends, all your family, and you all want to go for a bike ride and you need a bike rack that's relatively light, relatively affordable and can carry bikes at different shapes and different sizes. Now let's first take a look at how our bike is mounted to this bike rack. We have one, two wheel straps holding that in place as well as a frame mount here, holding onto our bikes frame. Note how this frame mount is holding onto it by its down shoe, which is nice because we have this frame mount that can rotate 360 around, up, down to fit bikes of different shapes and sizes. So, if you have your children's bikes your step-through bikes or your women's bikes this will work with that. more

Thule Helium Pro 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Hyundai Kona- Video
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Hyundai Kona, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro Hitch Mounted Bike Rack. So one of the big questions we get asked all the time in regards to hitch mounted bike racks is if you're still going to be able to have full access to the back of your Kona. And this one does fold down out of the way and allows us to do that. So super simple, if you pull up on this lever, the rack will swing down, and then we're able to open up our hatch and get any gear or anything you might need in and out of the back. And once we're finished up, you simply can just close our hatch and flip the rack back up into this position here.So another great thing I really like about this rack is it's aluminum. more

Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Hyundai Palisade YA44FR- Video
Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline from etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Yakima BackRoad four-bike hanging style rack here on our 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Now, what's great about this bike rack is that it can carry four of your bikes, it has a nice design feature to keep them safe from scuffs and scratches, and its cradles are a good ways apart so your bikes aren't tangled up while you're driving around. The way the bike is mounted to our bike rack here are at three mounting points, so one, two and three. This third one right here is the anti-sway cradle, so it greatly reduces the sway of our bike while we are driving around.To take it off, what you need to do is press in the levers and then pull the ZipStrips out, so one, two and three. You can put them in your pocket or in your glove box when you're out for a ride. I'll just put them on there for now. more

This is a two-bike platform rack, and one of the best features is we can actually tilt our bike rack down with bikes on it, to get into our trunk.As you can see, there's plenty of room for our trunk to open and still clear our bike. As you can see, there's plenty of room to where we can get into our trunk, if we need to get a drink or bike parts, anything we might need before we go out on the trail. When we're done on our trunk, we simply close the trunk of our vehicle, come back up here and tilt our bike rack up.Our bike is secured in two spots. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2019 Hyundai, Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Helium Pro platform style bike rack.The rack that we have here today is a two bike version, but there's also a one bike version available as well. But with that being said, one of the things that really separates this platform style rack compared to some of the others, is that it uses two wheel hooks, one on each tire. So, that's going to work out really well for those of you that have those carbon fiber bikes, you won't have to worry about any frame contact.Now, a lot of times with platform racks, when you get a couple of bikes on them, you run into the issue of putting that second bike on there and having interference with your seat, the second bikes handlebars can get jammed up and it can be a real hassle sometimes. That's not going to be the case with this one and that's because we're able to offset our bike. So if loosen up our wheel hooks a little bit, you're actually able to roll the bike one way or another, and clamp it back down. more

Jacob with etrailer looking at the Thule Helium. This is the two platform style bike iteration, and it comes into one platform as well. On a 2020 Hyundai Palisade, so no frame contact so it's going to be good for carbon bikes and painted bikes. It's got three inch cradles, eight sides, going to have locks on them, and it's going to be a no-tool install. So it's also going to lock down in the hitch area as well.
